Sue Ellen is a partner in EcoLeaders and has contributed to many projects in addition to her leadership within Interpretation Canada. She specializes in using video and new media for outreach.

Sue Ellen has been fostering environmental citizenship in Canadian parks and nature centres for many years. As head naturalist at Edmonton’s John Janzen Nature centre over a two year period, she increased attendance to programs and events by 35% to pass the 100,000 mark, and revenues rose by 25%.

Sue Ellen has behind-the-scenes insight into the diversity of interpretation practice across the North America through her award-winning television series Nature Walk. She is the executive director of Interpretation Canada and editor of its journal, InterpScan.
