Wisconsin DNR Needs Assessment

item19

In 2001, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources contracted us to conduct an needs assessment and analysis of its interpretation and education services at 130 selected properties across the state. These included state parks, wildlife areas, state forests and nurseries, fish hatcheries and an education centre.

The year-long process consisted of site visits, face-to-face and telephone interviews with site managers and interpretation staff, emailed questionnaires and a review of internal and public documents.

Our reports included a detailed review and summary of current practice Within the department and recommendations for moving forward toward current best practice.
